Delfins is a brand new hotel and resort located in Bonaire, Dutch Antilles. The hotel is extremely elegant, beautifully designed and furnished. It is located minutes from all major points of the Island and, at the same time, its location is very private and quiet. We have travelled to Aruba and Curaçao numerous times but this was our first visit to bonaire. The staff were amazing- friendly, great advise re top dive sites, best restaurants and pulled some big favours getting us the best tables at spectacular restaurants. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We stayed in one of the cabins and loved being steps away from the water. The room has a large window with a great view of the ocean, but on the flip side anyone walking by to go down to the beach has a great view of your room. Buddy Dive is right on the water and there are two sets of stairs that lead into the sea for divers to enter and exit easily. The reef is right offshore, and it was fantastic to be able to pick up our air tanks at the dive centre and walk in for our dives at any time of day or night. The room was basic but comfortable. Bed was comfy and clean. The place has great potential. It appeared that they were working on the outdoor kitchen area. There was a microwave, nespresso coffee, kettle, small fridge and an older air fryer which i used to nake toast. Fabiloa was an excellent host. If you just need a place to stay for a night or two, this was good value, even with the additional 10.00 cleaning charge and 3.00 PP per night electrical fee.
